GreenMech WOOD CHIPPERS – a new approach to limited access chipping!
GreenMech range of wood chippers are the most advanced limited access chippers on the market and combine the revolutionary disc blade chipping system with other features such as extra wide infeed chute, dual feed rollers, no stress power control (auto infeed) and all the latest safety features.
Best of all the GreenMech range of wood chippers use the latest in design technology meaning they are strong enough for Australian hardwoods, yet light and small for the most restricted sites as well as easy transport.
GreenMech are not only an industry leader in conventional “road tow” machines, they have also developed a range of tracked chippers, the Safetrack and Quad track which are becoming increasingly popular for roadside, embankment, rail line and other difficult clearance jobs.
Safety also features heavily in their design, never more evident than in the new Quadchip, where the rotating infeed shute enables operators to feed the machine from the safety of the footpath while the machine is parked on the road.
Additionally the Quadchip is extremely quiet, and is the first from the GreenMech line that is designed with the new European safety standards for lower noise emissions in mind.
The Disc Blade System uses a series of round discs that slice as opposed to chop, using only 1/3 of the cutting surface at any time, meaning when blades start to dull (usually after about 25 hours) they can simply and quickly be “turned” and wood chipping recommences.
In Australia, on average a blade will last about 75 hours before needing to be re sharpened and we have clients getting more than 400 hours from a set before replacement is required.
The GreenMech range of wood chippers is well proven in Australia having been sold since 2003 to Arborists and hire companies and performing with distinction across all applications.
